This year will feature two divisions:   "Lake Michigan" and "Small Lake" for those who  want to fish P Marquette Lake.

This second division will be great for younger kids and for pontoons or other small boats who don't want to venture out on the big lake.  Entry fee is $10 per boat.

Please provide Boat name, Boat size, Captain name and Division you wish to enter to Jerry Micho (michoboat@aol.com) or Justin Endres (wrjustin@earthlink.net).

We are still working on the Small Lake rules and they will be available shortly.

Both tournaments will focus on "Fun".  Each Division will have 3 cash prizes and a trophy.  There will also be T-shirts.

Following the fishing we will have a potluck lunch.  The Marina will provide hotdogs.  Please bring something to share.

Following are some information updates from our Marina.

 1. We have a 8x8 swim platform that is for maintenance in the marina. It has a small electric motor for propulsion. It is in the water and at present is in slip 19. Feel free to use as required.
 2. The water is 18 inches+/- higher over last year. This increase has many of the owner installed rub rails in the water. The rails are the owners responsibility. Going into winter  we can't have anything in the water. The ice will catch the boards and cause damage to the finger piers. Please remove this to at least 6 inches above the water for safety due to the rise and fall of the water levels.  Any boards not removed by Sept. 1st  will be contracted out and you will be sent the bill for the work. If you would like help with removal, contact any of the board members or Gary.
 3. We have been ask by Lakeside marina to avoid parking in their parking lot. They have limited space and we have more than enough to accommodate all our needs. Please inform any of your lease holders also
 4. Fish cleaning. As you may know the City of Ludington will no longer pump out the fish cleaning holding tank. We have a contract with a farmer that will pump out our tank when it is full. The cost is $300/time. We just need to call him when it needs pimping. When the grinder is running there is water running into the holding tank. So while cleaning fish, only run the grinder when needed. Don't let the grinder run when there are no carcases to grind. Also start the grinder prior to placing the carcasses into it.
 5. Leasing. If you have leased your slip this year make sure the boat owner has a copy of their insurance in the office, a copy of the Marina rules, your key to the bath house and dumpster.
Thanks for your co-operation. Have a safe summer
